At Catherine Deane, we’re lucky to work with bridal boutiques around the world who share our belief that finding a wedding dress should feel every bit as special as the day itself. In the heart of Paderborn, Germany, BeccaLoreen has created a welcoming space where brides can take their time, trust their instincts and enjoy the experience of finding the dress that feels truly right for them.
We caught up with the team behind the boutique to discover more about their approach to bridalwear, the designers and details they love, and what makes the BeccaLoreen experience so personal.
Tell us the story behind your boutique - how did it start, how long have you been open, and what inspired you to start working in the bridal industry?
We've been open since 2017, but it was always Lorena's dream to have her own bridal boutique, as it is such a special thing to be able to be part of someone's most important day. She decided to open one, together with her sister, Rebecca. That's how the name BeccaLoreen was created.
How do you curate the designers in your store - what makes you connect with the brands that you carry?
We want each piece in store to be special, so we have a look at the designs and just see what matches our concept best.
How would you describe the style and atmosphere of your boutique?
The atmosphere in our store is very familial. We even got feedback once that it's almost like shopping with a friend, and that's exactly the feeling we want brides to have. Everything is very cosy and made with love.
What do you love most about working with brides?
It’s such a privilege to be part of their special day and to know that we can contribute something meaningful and beautiful.
What is one piece of advice you give your brides during their wedding dress shopping journey?
If it doesn't feel right, it isn't right. It doesn't just have to look good, it has to feel right. We also tell our brides to listen to their heart.
What bridal trends or styles are inspiring you right now?
We love Chantilly lace, but we're also big fans of clean looks.
Do you have a favourite Catherine Deane piece/s? Tell us what draws you to this garment/s.
It’s hard to decide, but one of your favourites is definitely the Anika Skirt. It's such a beautiful skirt, made out of 100% silk tulle. It’s a piece where you can both see and feel the quality.
What is one thing you think brides absolutely must have on their wedding day?
An absolute must-have on the wedding day is to have the right people around! Everyone you love!
Are there any exciting dreams or opportunities you are looking forward to in the future for you and your boutique?
Actually yes, we're moving! We're going to merge our Second Love Store with our BeccaLoreen Bridal Boutique to create a concept where customers can shop for both new and second-hand bridal dresses.
