Forever Loved - A Return To Romance, Freedom And The Bride As Our Muse
Some collections celebrate a moment, others feel like a return. Forever Loved belongs to the latter.
Launching on 13 November, the day before Valentine’s Day, our latest bridal collection is very much a homecoming. A return to vintage influence, to expressive bridal separates, and to a design language rooted in romance, confidence, and ease.
At its heart, Forever Loved reflects on love that lasts. Love that moves beyond trends and seasons, and into something more enduring. As Creative Director Catherine Deane shares, “The Forever Loved collection was born from a quiet meditation on love, the kind that transcends time, trends, and seasons. Inspired by God, the ultimate Creator and source of love itself, this collection is a tribute to unfailing love and the sacred beauty of creation.” That sentiment runs through the collection in a way that feels restrained yet emotional, where softness meets structure and delicacy meets strength.

The collection was shaped instinctively, beginning not with rigid sketches but with fabric draped directly on the form. “Each piece in Forever Loved began with the draping process, allowing the fabric itself to guide the silhouette,” Catherine explains. This approach allows garments to evolve organically, responding to the body rather than imposing on it. “There’s a kind of intimacy and surrender in this way of working, trusting and moving with the fabric, the moment, and the vision.”
Once a silhouette forms, it gets translated into a pattern and refined through fittings, balancing precision, while making sure we hold on to the air of romance we wish to imbue in each design. Every piece is the result of collaboration and craft, brought to life by the skilled hands of our wonderful team of artisans. “Our seamstresses and pattern cutters play an important role in this journey, bringing life to each piece through their skill and care,” Catherine notes.
The Inspiration & Designs
Forever Loved marks a clear return to Catherine Deane’s vintage roots. Long influenced by her time spent exploring the markets of London and Paris, vintage has always shaped the brand’s visual language. This season, that influence feels more focused and intentional. Classic bridal codes such as lace, corsetry, and drapery are revisited and refined, reimagined for a modern bride who values both romance and individuality. The result is a collection that feels familiar yet fresh, timeless yet current.
When asked what trends inspired the collection, Catherine noted that "the collection is an expression of classic design sensibilities that harmonise beautifully with today’s evolving bridal trends. Reimagined through the lens of timelessness, elegance, and emotional connection, the key design themes that emerged include sheer elements, modern corsetry, drapery, removable elements that offer versatility of styling, and bold florals."
Corsetry is introduced across both separates and gowns, designed to offer support and structure while remaining comfortable and fluid. “We’re thrilled to introduce contemporary corsetry into our separates offering, reimagined for the modern bride,” Catherine says. Crafted in lace, heavy satin, crepe, and silk dupion, these pieces are designed to mix and match effortlessly, bringing new energy to our pioneering separates offering. “They offer structure, romance, and effortless versatility...They bring something new to our bridal separates collection, offering a little more structure while remaining beautifully wearable,” Catherine reflects.

This corsetry foundation also appears in standout gowns such as the Cassidy and Elliot, where internal structure enhances shape without sacrificing ease. Together, these pieces represent a natural evolution of the collection, offering brides greater freedom to curate looks that feel personal, semi-custom, and entirely their own.
When asked about her favourites, Catherine made special mention of these corseted pieces. She also noted to look out for the Elvira, Elise, Elodie, and Elliot corsets. "These are signature styles designed to complement and elevate your existing Catherine Deane separates collection.”
Rewearability Is The Ultimate Sustainability
Sustainability, comfort, and versatility remain central to the collection. “We believe that beauty and responsibility go hand in hand,” Catherine says. Many pieces are made using eco-certified fabrics, with select materials repurposed from existing stock. Garments are lined with our signature eco satin and crafted in core bridal fabrics that have been tested and refined over time for their longevity and durability. Comfort is intentional, never an afterthought. “We design for real women, with real bodies,” she explains, creating pieces that feel at ease and effortless to wear.
Versatility is equally important. Forever Loved invites brides to think beyond a single moment. “Bridalwear doesn’t have to be worn once,” Catherine notes. With adaptable separates and thoughtful design, the collection encourages rewearing, restyling, and extending the life of each piece long after the wedding day. “It’s our way of saying your love story continues, and so can your dress.”
The Campaign That Brought It All Together
The Forever Loved campaign was shot in a setting that feels deeply personal to Catherine and the team. Shot at her parents' home in Cape Town, the space reflects a sense of timeless, laid-back luxury. Renovated by her parents, the home is curated yet warm, lived in rather than styled. It became the perfect backdrop for a collection rooted in authenticity and ease, and it was a joy to see the space take on new meaning for such a special moment.
We wanted the playful styling elements to inspire our brides and feel like memorable moments they could implement on their big days. Metallic heart balloons in silver, red, and rose gold float through the space. West Coast oysters are paired with sparkling wine from Catherine’s favourite wine farm. Lilies wrapped in pearls nod to one of our favourite design mediums. A champagne tower, green olives served in silver coupes, vintage silverware from Catherine’s mother’s collection, and the presence of Josh Deane, Catherine’s beloved dog and office mascot, add warmth and personality.

This campaign, in many ways, is an ode to our bride. She is at the centre of it all. It was important for us to portray her as joyful, and exuding a sense of ease we whish for all of our brides to experience on their big day - unbothered by the intricacies a wedding day can present. She is present, she is calm, confident, and ready for her next adventure. She is doing things on her own terms, while looking effortlessly chic. She is the main character in her next chapter.
Forever Loved is not about transformation, but about affirmation. “Forever Loved feels so modern and fresh,” Catherine shares. “At its heart, this collection celebrates that feeling - the joy of being loved.” It is a celebration of romance without restriction, of craftsmanship and intuition, and of brides who want to feel like themselves as they step into what comes next.
